INSTEAD of a fancy wedding dress or traditional attire, a couple in Kulim, Kedah, broke the norm and wore their school uniforms for their big day, Harian Metro reported.

High school sweethearts Siti Nor Zaimah Mat Daut and Muhammad Hasifi Azman, both 24, courted much attention at their kenduri. Siti Nor Zaimah said she had always wanted to get married in a school uniform to reminisce about her days at SM Sungai Karangan between 2006 and 2010.

“I told Muhammad Hasifi about it and he agreed to the idea,” she said.

“It was funny when my husband and I walked out to greet our guests at the kenduri hosted by my husband’s family in Taman Kenangan, Sungai Karangan, Kulim,” Siti Nor Zaimah said.
